My woman
has two days to just relax. On the first morning after the big climb, she does
get on the Sweet Machine for a short spin to get the muscles going again. Last
night she had a hard time falling asleep – too tired, I think! But now, she
looks ready again – but not for the same kind of climbing. Later that day I can
find her reading in the “garden”, which has a great view on the lake where some
people go fishing. The next day, Sweet Machine stays inside. My woman enjoys
herself by looking at the sky, watching how clouds form storms – but none of
them threaten this place.
Also, she finally gets some time to do some reading
(let’s not call it work). After dinner she walks along the lake and is
pleasantly surprised by the absence of any noise: no cars, no humming of bees
or flies, no wind blowing along her ears, no birds singing their song…absolute
silence! Now that’s something to treasure and think about once back in school
in the teacher’s room!
